The EXTRA 330LX is an exceptional foam aerobatic model of uncompromising design, which is a match in every respect for similar aircraft of built-up construction.
We have cut absolutely no corners - either in model design or in its internal components. For example, the wings are based on strong carbon spars made of Lightweight wound tube, while the fuselage is stiffened with a Lightweight laser-cut internal M-Frame. The result is a model of incredible airframe strength, designed specifically for hard 3D Flying and the XA Flying style.
Since the Extra responds to the controls with extreme precision, and flies very neutrally -no mixers are required - it is equally suitable for accurate, effortless Flying of all classic aerobatic manoevers.
The Extra starts and stops sharply in snaps and other rolling manoeuvres, and is virtually rock-steady in the harrier. This makes it easy to practice new manoeuvres, and learn the required command sequences.
The EXTRA 330LX is the first foam model to be fitted with high-quality Hitec D-series servos. These servos outstanding features are their ultra-precise positioning (32-bit resolution), high power (4kg/cm) and proven soft-start characteristics. The power system is a new development, and includes a special high-efficiency propeller wich has been developed specifically for the model.
The Extra responds very directly to control surface commands, and gives the impression of a much larger model in the air.
