Uusi KAVAN BETA 1400 säilyttää alkuperäisen BETA 1400:n tutut muodot - silti se on täysin uusi malli, jossa on hieman erilaiset mitat, uusi siipiosa, uusi harjaton moottori taittuvalla potkurilla ja hienoimpia lisävarusteita. Uudet muotit ja edistyneet EPO-vaahtomuovaustekniikat varmistavat, että kaikki osat ovat paljon hienompia ja tarkempia. BETA 1400 - väsymätön harjoitustyöhevonen - on loistava valinta uusille tulokkaille; hän auttaa löytämään tiesi alkuharjoituksista taitolento- taitermiikkilentotoiminnan perusteisiin ilman suurta meteliä. Sunnuntai-lennättäjälle kompakti ja helposti kuljetettava vaihtoehto.
BETA 1400 on loistava moottoripurjelentokone/perusharjoittaja, joka toimii harjattomalla moottorilla, jossa on siiveke, korkeus ja sivuperäsinohjaus. Vankka, mutta kevyt, käytännöllisesti katsoen rikkoutumattomasta EPO-vaahdosta valmistettu lentokoneen runko tekee siitä törmäyksenkestävän - tai ainakin helposti korjattavan, jos jotain todella vakavaa tapahtuu.
EPO-vaahtomuovirungon mukana tulee C2814-1400-harjaton moottori pylväässä, 7x6" taitettava potkuri, KAVAN R-20B ESC ja GO-09 korkeus- ja sivuperäsinservot. Irrotettava kuomu on kiinnitetty magneettilukolla. Pylonin edessä oleva jäähdytysilmanotto pitää moottorinsopivan ja viileänä. Kaksiosaisen EPO-siiven mukana toimitetaan kaksi GO-09 siivekeservoa ja niiden vivusto asennettuna. Siipien puolikkaat liitetään yhteen hiiliputkiliittimellä ja kiinnitetään ruuveilla siiven alapuolella. Emennage on myös EPO-vaahtoa; hissiä ja peräsintä ohjataan parilla vaijerityöntötankoilla.
Ensimmäiseen lennolle valmistautuminen on helppoa: liimaa vaakasuora korkeusvakain runkoon, liitä siipikannattimet ja kiinnitä kahdella pultilla, yhdistä vastaanotin ja lentopaketti - siinä kaikki!
Mallin mukana toimitetaan KAVAN/Radiolink 8-kanavainen 2,4 GHz FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum system) -lähetin tikkutilassa 2. Voit käyttää sitä "suoraan laatikosta" perinteisenä ei-tietokoneradiona digitaalisella trimmit ja mekaaniset peruutuskytkimet siiveke-, elevaattori-, kaasu- ja peräsinkanaville (CH1-4). Voit myös liittää sen PC:hen (USB-kaapelilla) tai Android/iOS-sovellukseen (Bluetooth-yhteyden kautta) käyttääksesi useita hyödyllisiä ohjelmatoimintoja: säädettävät servoliikeradat, servon käännös, kaksoisnopeus, eksponentiaaliset liikeradat ja paljon muuta. Tarvitset 4 AA (sormiparistot) alkaliparistoa tai ladattavia NiMH-akkuja, 2-3S LiPo, LiFe of Li-ion -akkupakettia (ei sisälly pakkaukseen).
BETA 1400 RTF -sarja sisältää
11,1 V 1600 mAh LiPo -lentopaketin. Voit käyttää myös 3S LiPo -pakkauksia 2200 mAh asti.
BETA 1400 sopii aloittelijoille (taitavan lentäjän ohjauksessa, älä yritä aloittaa kokonaan yksin, kiitos!) - sekä kaikille sunnuntailentäjille tai kaikille, jotka haluavat vain pitää hauskaa. Oletusasetus tekee hänestä lempeän ja tottelevan mallin, joka tarjoaa hyvän tavan oppia ja parantaa lentotaitojasi askel askeleelta. Opit oikean ja oikea-aikaisen tavan ohjainpintojen käsittelyyn, koordinoidut käännökset siivekkeillä, peräsimellä samanaikaisesti...kaikki mitä tarvitset seuraavaan malliisi - iso purjelentokone, taitolentokone, (puoli)mittakaavainen malli. Kytkentärakenne sekä lähetin PC- tai Android/iOS-sovelluksen asetusvaihtoehdolla tekevät säätämisestä helppoa: aloittelija voi aloittaa pienillä ja turvallisilla servoliikkeillä, kun taas kokenut lentäjä voi mennä isoihin servoliikkeisiin ja temppuihin. Silmukat, tynnyrirullat ja pystykäännökset ovat helppoa BETA 1400:lla! Tehoa on runsaasti hyvään nousunopeuteen; ei kuitenkaan liikaa aiheuttamaan ongelmia kokemattomille lentäjille. BETA 1400 pystyy käyttämään jopa varsin heikkoja nostoja, joka kohoaa siellä "ikuisuuden ajan".

The new KAVAN BETA 1400 keeps the familiar curves of the original BETA 1400 - yet she is a completely new model with slightly different dimensions, new wing section, new brushless motor with a folding propeller and finest accessories. BETA 1400 is a great motor glider/elementary trainer powered by a brushless motor featuring aileron, elevator and rudder control. Rugged, yet light, airframe made of virtually unbreakable EPO foam makes her crash-proof - or at least easy to repair if something really serious happened.
The EPO foam fuselage comes with the C2814-1400 brushless motor in the pylon, 7x6” folding propeller, KAVAN R-20B ESC and GO-09 elevator and rudder servos installed. The detachable canopy is secured by a magnetic lock. The cooling air intake in the front of the pylon keeps the motor nice and cool. The two-piece EPO wing is supplied with two GO-09 aileron servos and their linkage installed. The wing halves are joined by a carbon tube joiner and secured by screws on the bottom side of the wing. The empennage is also of the EPO foam; elevator and rudder are controlled by a pair of wire push rods.
Preparing for the first flight is a breeze: glue the horizontal tailplane to the fuselage, join the wing haves and secure with two bolts, connect the receiver and flight pack - that’s all folks!
The model is supplied with the KAVAN/Radiolink 8-channel 2.4GHz FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum system) transmitter in stick mode 2. You can use it “straight-of-the-box” as a classic non-computer radio with digital trims and mechanic reverse switches for aileron, elevator, throttle and rudder channels (CH1-4). You can also connect it to a PC (via USB cable) or Android/iOS application (via Bluetooth) in order to use a number of useful program functions: adjustable servo throws, servo reverse, dual rates, exponential throws and many more. You will need 4 AA (pen cell) alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable batteries, 2-3S LiPo, LiFe of Li-ion battery pack for the transmitter (not supplied with the kit).
BETA 1400 RTF set contents the 11.1 V 1600 mAh LiPo flight pack. You can use 3S LiPo packs up to 2200 mAh as well.
BETA 1400 is suitable for beginners (under the guidance of a skilled pilot, do not try to start all alone, please!) - as well as any Sunday flyer or everybody who just wants to have some fun. The default set-up makes her a gently and docile model offering a good way how to learn and improve your flying skills step by step. You will learn the correct and timely way of the stick handling, coordinated turns using ailerons, elevator and rudder simultaneously...everything you will need with your next model - a large glider, an aerobatic plane, a (semi)scale model. The linkage design as well the transmitter with PC or Android/iOS application setting option make the adjustment easy: a beginner can start with small and safe servo throws, whilst an experienced pilot may go for large servo throws and some stunts. Loops, barrel rolls, stall turns are easy with your BETA 1400! There is a plenty of power for a good climbing rate; yet not too much to cause troubles for inexperienced pilots. BETA 1400 is capable of using even quite weak thermals soaring up there “for ages”.
